The 2024 Millbrook Fair took place earlier this month from June 6th to June 9th, when they closed their gates for the 173rd edition of the event late Sunday afternoon.
As is so often the case at the Millbrook Fair, we were blessed with some rain! While we enjoy the spring showers, we once again discovered that as even more often the case at the Millbrook Fair, a little bit of damp could not keep the Millbrook faithful away. The happy fairgoers were out in droves, and there was much for them to enjoy.
The Millbrook Agricultural Society switched evening entertainments formats in 2024, bringing in Impact Demolition to run a demo-cross event Thursday night and their full demo show on Sunday. Rainy weather and nasty elements made for a sparse crowd Thursday, but several packed heats of great cars kept entertainment going long into Sunday evening when the full show went later in the weekend. It was an awesome show!
Of course, outside of that, Millbrook always has PULLS. You can find lawn tractors, antique tractors, local pullers, and OTTPA sanctioned modified machines pulling all weekend long. This takes a tremendous amount of coordination, especially with inclement weather. The crew did an awesome job to manage the track through the weather and put on a great event.
As a team, Admit All provided the Millbrook Fair with Admission, Parking, and Bartending Services. In addition to that, our partnered Security company, Silverline Patrol & Security Corp., was contracted by the Millbrook Fair to secure the event around the licensed trackside beer tent and live music.
Performer Ty Baynton packed the house on Saturday night after a long afternoon of pulls kept the crowd buzzing, and a great time was had by the entire Admit All staff in assisting the Millbrook Agricultural Society with the structural logistics and personnel they needed to pull the show off.
This was a groundbreaking event for our team in that it was the first time we had employed such a wide range of collective services simultaneously.
It was an exhilarating experience to see our team members step up in various capacities and roles in order to run different wings of the organization. As an Admit All Team, we helped the Millbrook Fair bring in more customers than ever before, get them all parked, get them safely served behind the bar, and monitored the happy customers enjoying all that the Fair had to offer.
Inside the Fair, Gable Concessions ran an excellent Midway while vendors lined the roads. There were lawn tractor races, children’s displays, crafts and handiwork, and lots of agriculture to be appreciated. The way that all these small groups with varied interests can co-exist and come together to make a Fair can be pretty magical!
Admit All will be back in Millbrook for the 174th edition of the event next June, and we can’t wait to see some of the same excitement back, as well as whatever is to come next!
