Brooklin Spring Fair: 2024 in Review

From May 30th to June 2nd, we at Admit All had the privilege of manning the gates and providing admission services at the Brooklin Spring Fair. This is our first scheduled event most seasons, and the good people of Brooklin, Whitby, and surrounding areas come out in droves to support the event, helping us to knock the rust off our aprons every year.

All in all, we have to say that we found the event incredibly impressive, and full of customer value. Those responsible for organizing the Brooklin Spring Fair have gone above and beyond in bringing in entertainment and value for all ages. The Fair featured a Midway run by Albion Amusements, an incredible array of agricultural displays in several different tents, a ton of authentic food vendors, a licensed drinking area, plentiful grandstand seating, and different small shows running throughout the day to keep families entertained.

In the few moments I had to look away from the steady flow of happy customers making their way into the Fair gates, I was able to take my infant son inside to enjoy some sights of the Fair. We were able to witness some very cool displays in the parade before following along inside and watching a “Birds of Prey” show where we got up close and personal with a hawk, before finishing off with a separate petting zoo.

One of the other major successes of this event was our collaboration with Brooklin Spring Fair to provide advance sales to their customers. This was the first year we implemented this process, and thousands of tickets were successfully purchased at a discount online and then decoded at the gate. This is a process we will continue to refine moving forward so that it feels smooth for everybody entering the Fair!

Birds Eye: Brooklin Spring Fair

Overall, the weekend in Brooklin was an incredible success. Townsfolk were able to enjoy great weather outside of a rainy Sunday that put a cool and calm end to a weekend that was full of fun. Great attendance numbers and a celebration with only a very few minor incidents meant that everybody had a good bit of family fun.

We can’t wait to be back in 2025 to help out with another rendition of the Brooklin Spring Fair!
